people, i know you guys got your own blogs. but i hope you all will like blog in the section's blog. it's weelyn's precious little thingy. HAHA. sorry. well, i'm blogging for a reason.

i heard about the problems. anyway, i seriously hope that every single one of you in the saxophone section will BE commited to the section and to the band. also, please be open minded alright, whenever there are new pieces, must be excited. isn't is cool to learn new pieces? it is like learning something new. well, i think it is quite exciting. anyway, even if you are not excited, at least do your very best to practice the piece and perfect it! strive to be the best section!!! :D

yes, so long if you all work as a section, do your individual practices. learn the pieces. dunno. ASK JOEY! hahaha. anyway, need anything, must speak up!

being in the band requires LOTS of commitment, passion, time and energy. i hope you all take each practice seriously, with a pinch of fun though. or else it is going to be boring. if you actually think of quitting half way, then in the first place, myself not join the band. missing a practice is quite serious cause each and every practice, you will be learning something new. so, i hope that you all will try your best to turn up for every practice :D

regardless of playing the alto, tenor or bari, you are all in the same saxophone section. must work with each other as every single one of you and all parts of the piece, be it the bass, the melody or counter-melody, you are all equally important :D

i'm bored; so i decided to update this very dead blog. THREEEE CHEEERRS FOR ME. i hope all you looovely people are seriously working your asses off; cauuse you know our goal. hmm, what shall i blog in here? i can't really be bothered to talk aabout my life; cause i'll just bore the hell out of your. so i guess i'll use this post to spread my loveeee to all you love-lys.

i still cannot believe that weelyn and jolene is going to graduate. but nevermind i am, WE are going to do our best; and make you proud. FROM the beggining when i first joined the section. like oh my! what did you think of me? i swear you guys are so freaking patient; i'll just freak if i had to teach a junior like ME. yes, i admit it at least; i'm hardly serious; and im so sorry about that. but i guess that's just who i am. oh man; sectionals will never be the same anymore.

Our section outing is FINALLY SETTLED! AFTER MANY MANY TIMES OF REMINDERS, I finally remembered. Hahaha. I'm sorry I took such a long time. =/

It shall be on the 22nd of december, at ESCAPE THEME PARK.
Ex-seniors are VERY WELCOMED to join us. =)

Further details will be given later.

Just to remind you, we still need to plan another date to buy seniors' presents.
SOMEONE ELSE PLEASE DECIDE.
I'll not be free from 7th of dec onwards.
And you people have to get it before 12th dec.
I won't mind if you all get it without me.

Talking about band chalet, I might as well just tell you guys about the band chalet now.

There will be free shuttle bus from Tanah Merah MRT station.

miss oh weelyn asked me to update our section's blog since i am free. but i told her i dunno wad to write. so she ask me to write anything that comes to mind. but unfortunately, NOTHING came to mind. after 1 hour, ... ... ... but anyway, we went to ccps last friday to perform for their last day of school, Thanksgiving day. well, i wanna thank jennifer for helping me carry my saxophone, that was really kind of her. oh ya. While waiting for our turn to play, we were like singing our parts for most of the pieces in the files. it was hilarious, men! that was so fun. we sounded.... erm. well, no comments. haha. anyway, weelyn told me that Mr D told her that he wants her to try out the soprano saxophone. and there is a whole long story behind that. i shan't say. let weelyn have that honour, haha. "hey weelyn, REMEMBER, our section outing!" hahaha.

hey juniors, i heard you girls have NOT been practicing during sectionals on your own. Seriously, i am dissappointed HOWEVER i know you guys have your reasons. but even if you do not know what is the tune or how you all are supposed to play. you all should just try, even if you got it wrong, just learn from your mistakes. Do NOT be afraid to make errors. everyone makes mistakes. all you have to do is to learn from your mistakes. Also, DO NOT always say that you can't do it when you have NOT even try. cause both weelyn and i all believe that you girls can play and do your best. Junior band is finally over! But i wish i could go and perform again cause it was so FUN!! ((:
Sadly, we still can't relax coz have to work hard for the hawaii performance thing..
and than after than SYF..
Today we were so nervous and excited before the rehersals cause theres Mr David Glosz sitting at the circle seats and when we were sitting below, we couldn't see him but could only hear him giving comments. So i and CAssandra called him Charlie from the Charlie's angels. HAHA.
He's really demanding sometimes. He was so scary when he asked us to play power rock another time... with a faster speed... But overall everyone said it was okay..
haha...
I was so tired when I got back to school.. almost fainted. HAHA. I couldn't keep my eyes open and i got a bad headache.. But don't know why when i got home i became okay..
HAHA. i still have energy to use the labtop.. ( my dad's one ) LOL.
Than we had to take the lift up to the 4th floor... it was so dark so everyone kept screaming like mad people.. HAHA.
After we kept our instruments, i kept on scaring cassandra by tapping her shoulder and she got so freaked out she screamed and ran =P
Michelle decided to scare Mr Chan but we decided not to as we were afraid he will scold.
HAHA, it was so much FUN!! (:
I still wish i was a junior next year!

you girls were sensational! seriously. saxophonists are sensational. nice! a job WELL DONE! you girls played very well in the juniors band festival and did your very best. and i am sooo friggin proud of you all. to tell you all the truth, my heart was beating friggin fast and i was scared too. haha. oh wells. Dun you guys felt a sense of satisfaction doing your thing out there on the stage? anyways, i felt it for you all. you all really did your best and i can hear it. haha. your efforts in practicing paid off.

oh wells. Jo's back again. Been busy with stuff. hey juniors, Juniors' Band Fest is in two weeks time. must practice more often. if you guys are free on friday, please come back for self-practices, just for next two weeks. However, I don't think it can be done by this holiday. It's already the last week of holidays. Not much time left :( Probably after the holidays. Hi... er... i don't know what to talk about... well... ill talk about the balloon hat then... Firstly, it was very very hot there and the time limit to make the balloons were so short!!! And there was only 1 pump working... so we had to share 1 pump, to pump so many balloons! Especially when they announced that there was only 5 minutes left, we were all so anxious and we were all " shou mang jiao luan " haha. Well... than the marching part was okay.. the bad part was that we had to carry all the bags. haha. and walk under the sun. The ending was fun.. at the beach. at that time i was hoping i wore slippers so i could dig my feet into the water =) hahaz. well thats all... byez. (:

YOOHOO. I'm the third to update! Haha. Band's been fine lately. I agree with Joey. We will work hard to strive for the best! -nods head. Our section is not only sexy, we rock the band too! The band will just DIE without us. HAHA.

Our section is DAMN united right? And we'll be more united as time passes. Quote from Chuchu: a section must be united in order to play well. Let's have another section outing again! The last outing was quite fun. But not all attended. This time, ALL MUST MAKE IT OKAY. Ok YAY. Seniors are welcomed too(?). Haha.

We'll work hard for the upcoming band competition in July, yes? YES. As well as SYF and the concert! I think it's too early to say now. Haha. But still. Talking about the concert, I'm so pissed that it's going to be like Sounds of Music Part II! What the hell! WHEN ARE WE EVER GONNA HAVE OUR OWN CONCERT. Own concert meaning just SAC Concert Band ALONE performing. No Percussion band, Angklung, guitar and whatever other CCA. If they want a concert, they can jolly well go book their own hall and have their own concert. We're like always the one doing most of the planning and everything. All they have to do, is just go there and start performing, making people think they're SO IMPRESSIVE. I'm not trying to say they're not good or whatsoever, but I just feel that it's NOT FAIR. We were the ones that suggested a concert. One example was the Sounds of Music on the 24th February. We pleaded the school to let us have this concert. Estatic were we, when the school approved. Yet the money is not a problem principal said they will only approve if other CCAs join in too. What the hell lah. Since when do people attend concerts with FOUR CCAs performing at the same time?! Oh yeah there is, US LOR.

Just yesterday, Miss Chua asked JDH if there's any international band festival we could take part in. WOW. Surprising surprising. JDH told us, first choice's Malaysia [shakes head]. Second, Australia [I don't mind(:]. Third, Holland [No comments]. Fourth, HAWAII [YES YES. :D]! He haven't tell her yet I guess. I think it's rather weird, for her to come and ask us in the middle of nowhere. It could be because of SYF. But HEY, we appealed to them for us to go this year was also because of SYF next year! They didn't approve then. Now, they asking us again? JDH said they're feeling guilty cause he asked them how come badminton get to go to Australia when they didn't win anything and we don't. Quite true. Like what Gen said, he's damn good at making people feel guilty. He himself admitted it. Anyway, I don't think we'll get to go. Missing eight days of school for us isn't really a good thing for the us, the sec threes, cause we've got O levels. Sigh. I hope we can go though.

He said until as if it's so well planned. Concert, trip, SYF rehearsal, SYF. If only it was gonna be like that. Let's not pin our hopes too high. It'll just make us feel more disappointed.
